Links are one of the highest impact tactics to influence visibility in Google and other search engines.

Search engines consider a link to your site to be a vote of confidence, with the linking party indicating that your website is a reputable source for the related information. Consequently, off-site linking grows trust in your business, which increases something we call page authority (PA). Links also help lead more people to your content, getting you more views and more potential customers.

What is page authority? Page authority is a metric used to evaluate the potential search engine ranking of a website. Essentially, the higher a website page’s authority score, the greater its chances of being featured at the top of search results for relevant queries. Although search engines do not necessarily use PA directly, the impact of links is a clear ranking factor.

However, link-building isn’t as simple as convincing anyone and everyone to link to your site. In order to actually improve your SEO, links should be useful, natural and high-quality. For instance, they should include descriptive anchor text and be relevant to the content in the link relationship.

Choosing links with sufficient page authority, as well as the right domain types, is also important. For example, large industry businesses should have articles in trade publications and lifestyle brands. Meanwhile, mid-size regional businesses might have a presence on industry blogs, conference sites and various other mid-level authority sites.

For every link that you purchase, our SEO team guarantees you an optimal placement that follows all of these best practices. If you purchase multiple links, we’ll also ensure a strategic mix of domain types to achieve your business’s goals.

Our SEO team will identify the best websites relevant to your brand, industry and business to profile a selection of potential links to build. We will then acquire the link(s) on your behalf and facilitate their publication.

Limitations
What limitations are involved in link-building campaigns?

  • Exact placements will be reported on only after successful publication due to the negotiation aspect of the process.
  • Marketeering Group cannot guarantee specific link placements, nor can we guarantee the successful number of links placed in any given time period.

Services Not Guaranteed
Both the client and Marketeering Group understand and agree that:

  • “Social shares” are not guaranteed on any published articles or press releases acquired by Marketeering Group. Marketeering Group has no control over social shares on published articles.
  • Marketeering Group does not guarantee that published articles will use the client’s company name in published articles EXCEPT on content placements that are eligible for client review and approval. In these cases, the client and Marketeering Group will collaborate to reach an agreement on the final text of written content prior to publication.
  • Marketeering Group does not guarantee or represent that published articles will result in significant referral (click-through) traffic. The client acknowledges that referral traffic is not expected in any significant quantity. Rather, the client acknowledges that services are intended to have positive effects with regard to brand awareness, brand value and organic search rankings. However, Marketeering Group does not guarantee the effectiveness of services for attaining any of these goals. The client acknowledges and understands that the effectiveness of Marketeering Group’s services for increasing traffic, visitors, conversions or sales — like any marketing tactics — are not guaranteed.
  • Marketeering Group does not guarantee or represent that published articles will remain published permanently or that client link(s) will remain active or “live” within the published articles permanently. However, Marketeering Group does guarantee replacement or refund on any client links that are permanently removed within 90 days of publication. Temporary outages — such as temporary site maintenance or other temporary issues that prevent the display of the article or client links — are not subject to refund or replacement, unless the temporary issues persist for 14 days in a row prior to the 90-day publication guarantee window.
  • Marketeering Group does not guarantee that new, different or unique authors will be used for article placements that are not eligible for client review and approval.

Refunds
All sales are final. Refunds are allowable only under the following circumstances. Circumstances not listed below are not eligible for refund. In each of the following cases, the client may choose to request a pro-rated refund (for each individual failed deliverable) OR choose a new publication of equal value, from a list provided by Marketeering Group:

  • Deliverable is not completed within five months of the date the client’s payment was received for the service. (Note: This condition is only applicable once the article has been approved by the client and submitted to the publisher for review. The client may not stall for five months, change their mind about the service, or otherwise purposely delay progress in order to qualify for this refund condition. The client’s failure to approve pitches or articles for publication for any reason are acceptable conditions for a 50% refund on each individual deliverable for which the client fails to approve the pitch or final article. Marketeering Group allows unlimited revisions for all content for this reason.)
  • The deliverable is rejected by the publisher.
  • The deliverable is published but the client’s link is removed (Note: If an article is published, and a link remains to the client’s website but the URL or the anchor text has been altered, this placement is considered complete and is not eligible for refund or replacement.)
  • The deliverable is published, then either the client link or the entire article is permanently removed within 90 days of publication. Temporary outages — such as temporary site maintenance or other temporary issues that prevent the display of the article or client links — are not subject to refund or replacement, unless the temporary issues persist for 14 days in a row prior to the 90-day publication guarantee window.
