Website Hosting and Maintenance
- At the start of services, we’ll hold an initial discovery meeting with the client and Marketeering Group to discuss the client organization’s background, current status, digital marketing needs and goals.
- After this meeting, the Marketeering Group team will prepare the initial quarterly plan, including the development tasks that will be tackled each month and the KPIs that will be tracked to monitor progress. This will be sent to the client to review, and an optional meeting can be scheduled to discuss and adjust the plan, if needed.
- Each month, we will implement the development tasks laid out in the quarterly plan. At the end of the month, we will track metrics for the established KPIs.
- At the end of the quarter, we will evaluate the results of the tasks completed that quarter, and compile a report of the final KPI metrics, as well as a summary of successes and opportunities for further improvements. The report will also include any recommendations we have for tasks to include in the next quarter’s development plan.
- We will then schedule the next quarterly meeting with the client and Marketeering Group, where we will review relevant findings from the previous quarter’s report, discuss the client organization’s goals for the next quarter, and finalize the development plan for the upcoming quarter.
- If the client has additional time-sensitive development needs, that can not wait until the next quarter’s development plan, they may request additional edits through their Account Manager at any time. The client will have a small bucket of “flex time” available to use for these edits. If the available flex time does not cover the needed work, the requested edits will be billed at our regular hourly rate, and we will provide an additional quote for approval before completing the request.
- Website work and data tracking will be completed according to the quarterly plan that is set and approved by the client at the start of each quarter.
- Edits to the quarterly plan, after client approval, will require a change of scope and will incur additional costs.
- If additional development work is needed, beyond what is included in the quarterly plan, your quarterly flex time can be used for those requests. If the requests exceed the amount of included flex time, additional development time can be purchased at our regular hourly development rate.
- If additional third-party paid tools are needed to complete any of the website edits, the client will be responsible for those costs. Before beginning the related work, we will provide the client with a list of any recommended tools and their associated costs for approval.
- The website retainer service only covers edits to websites built in the WordPress Content Management System.
- The website retainer service covers edits to the website content, design and formatting. Minor functionality edits that can be completed within the existing website theme or with basic WordPress plugins may also be covered, if approved by Marketeering Group in the quarterly plan. Advanced website functionality edits or additions are not included as part of the strategic retainer service. Requests for additional website functionality will be quoted separately as an add-on project.
